Some recent quilts and finished

Before sharing photos of recent projects, I feel I must speak to the current pandemic.

The Coronavirus pandemic has most of us self-isolating and trying our best to ‘flatten the curve’. This is certainly an unprecedented event and everyone’s individual response is different. In the beginning, when it seemed to be isolated in a China, it was worrisome and certainly captured everyone's attention - hoping that it would soon be under control and that deaths would be at a minimum. As the virus spread around the world, the prevailing thoughts seemed to be that very few cases would be seen ‘where I live’ but we now know that no one, no country, is immune. The number of cases and deaths in Italy should have triggered immediate responses around the world - the virus was coming. Now that virtually every country has cases and deaths, it’s imperative that people self-isolate and practice social distancing when they must go out. Together we can stop the spread of COVID-19.

And now for the fun stuff!
