More at-home Covid quilting and a picnic or two!

Over the summer our group did not meet at our usual quilting venue due to Covid-19 but we all managed to stay busy in our own way. And, we got together a few times in a public park at an adequately socially distanced way to have a 'picnic'.

Here are a few photos of work completed at home:

Sue's Quilt projects:

Large paper pieced Abstract Elephant quilt!

Twisted Geese quilt top

Waverly quilt for a friend's son

A quilt called Waffles; it has been a
UFO for a long time

Reversible table runner; from Jennifer Sampou's book
Ombre

With leftover Ombre fabric, Sue made this purse, it just
needs it's handles

Faye #1's project:

This wall-hanging has blocks that
represent each province and territory.

From Bev:

Putting together a Patchwork of the Crosses, Lucy Boston
block. I choose to appliqué the paper-pieced POTC
to a background square. I used a template to ensure each
block is entered on its backing.

A mini-quilt I made for Quilt Canada 2020
quilt swap.

Some picnic photos; we were blessed with nice, sunny days to get together while socially distancing!
