Spring Happenings - March 2017

After returning from QuiltCon East, we rejoined our friends and tied to ignore the fact that Spring wasn't make much of an appearance.

We celebrated a few birthdays; here's Judy and Jane and they are getting a

little help from ....

...Harper, who is Carole's granddaughter visiting from down-under, Australia!

Then it was Karn's turn to turn an a year older!

You can see that I'm not kidding about our Spring weather!

This is a quilt that Jane finished up from a fabric pack purchased at QuiltCon West in 2016.

It makes a very nice finished quilt!

This is Carole's Hobo Quilt - from the book ...

You can purchase Hobo Quilts on line or at your favourite LQS.

Another Charity quilt completed by Cheryl!

Darlene and Jane visiting as Jane adds the binding to her quilted quilt.

Faye 2 and Carole looking over some of Carole's beautiful Canadian Women 150 blocks from the website Next Step Quilt Designs.

This was/is a free block program very generously presented free of charge by Next Step Quilt Designs -       http://www.nextstepquiltdesigns.com   - you could still join but the previously released blocks will be unavailable. A great program!

Here's Myrtle working on some binding for a very colourful quilt!

And this was a quilt-as-you-go project that I was working on as a pattern tester for Gudrun Erla of GE designs - but as she has since published the pattern, I can show it to you!

It's a butterfly table runner called "Fluttery" and you can purchase the pattern HERE or at your LQS.

Thanks for reading and happy Sewing!
